Cloud-white dice with smiling pastel figures have the energy of a performer who’s delighted their questionable plan worked. The metallic orange numbers give the little faces a bright counterpoint.
Beanbright Overture is a nine-piece resin DND dice set with sharp edges and clear-looking edges. Alongside the blue, yellow and pink figures, it includes two D6s and two D12s, rather than just one of each.
I’d pair the cheerful design with a College of Glamour Bard who loves a colourful entrance, or an Alchemist Artificer whose workshop experiments have names and personalities. Those little smiles feel right at home with either character.
Reach for the included D20 when your character’s next ability check decides whether the clever plan gets applause or a quick change of subject.
