Grinning Mimic Dice Chest

At first glance, this brown treasure chest looks as though it belongs in a dusty corner of a dungeon. Carved plank lines, dark weathered-looking patches and dark grey bands give it the look of a long-forgotten find. Then you notice the pale slit-pupil eyes, the wide open mouth and those pointed ivory-coloured teeth. Suddenly, the treasure looks rather interested in you.

This mimic figure has the playful menace of a classic tabletop surprise, like a chest that waited patiently for an adventuring party to get just a little too curious. It would feel right at home beside a Dungeon Master's notes.
